WHEN LIFE FEELS HEAVY
How Can Counselling Help?
Counselling is a professional and confidential space with legal and ethical limits, so you can talk openly about what you’re going through, gain skills, and find practical ways forward. It can support you through stress, relationships, burnout, parenting, emotional pressure, life transitions, or simply the weight of everyday life.
Unlike more clinical approaches focused on diagnosis or intensive treatment, counselling often centres on emotional wellbeing, self-understanding, coping strategies, and personal growth — offering supportive and collaborative guidance for the challenges of everyday living.
Individual Counselling
For anyone going through transitions, loss, anxiety, or simply feeling stuck. A warm, non-judgmental space to step back from the pressure, gain perspective, and work towards meaningful change.
Men's Counselling
For men carrying stress, pressure, frustration, or the sense that something isn't working — and are ready to start changing that. A direct and confidential space to work through what’s happening and create changes that matter in everyday life.
Parenting Support
Counselling for parents and carers feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stretched. The focus is on strengthening relationships, improving family communication, and developing practical approaches and skills to navigate the challenges of everyday family life.
Legal & Ethical Framework
Counselling provided within a safe, confidential, and ethical framework focused on emotional support, practical guidance, and respectful care. Where concerns require specialised clinical, psychiatric, or emergency services, appropriate referrals will be recommended.
Free 15-Minute Consultation
Not sure where to start? This free 15-minute consultation gives us the chance to discuss your current challenges, what you hope to achieve, and how I may be able to help. It’s a relaxed, no-obligation conversation to see whether working together feels right for you.
About me
I'm Francisco — a bilingual counsellor with over 20 years of experience working across mental health, trauma, family support, and community wellbeing.
Throughout my career, I have worked alongside hundreds of people facing life's challenges in a variety of settings, including counselling, leadership, and senior roles within the mental health sector. These experiences have shaped my belief that there is no single answer that works for everyone. Every person brings their own story, circumstances, strengths, and challenges.
My approach is warm, grounded, and direct. I believe that meaningful change often begins by understanding what is happening, identifying what matters to you, and finding practical ways to respond. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you with respect, practical support, and evidence-informed information that can help you navigate life's challenges more confidently.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, disconnected, navigating a major life transition, or simply carrying too much on your own, you will find a professional, confidential, and non-judgmental space where your experience remains at the centre of the conversation.

Commitment to Accessible Care
My standard fee is $120 per session.
I understand that life can be financially challenging at times, and that the cost of counselling may not always be easy to manage. If cost is a concern, please feel free to reach out and discuss your situation. In some circumstances, a reduced fee may be available.
I believe that access to support should be considered wherever possible, and I am happy to have an open conversation about what may be appropriate.
